Peaky Blinders producers reveal the show WON’T feature celeb cameos 

Peaky Blinders producers have revealed the series will not feature celebrity cameos, just days after Liam Gallagher shared his hopes for 샌즈카지노쿠폰 a role in the BBC drama. 

During a Q&A at the show’s festival in Digbeth, Birmingham on Sunday, creator Steven Knight shut down claims of signing on famous faces outside of the acting world, in a bid to avoid distraction from the BBC drama’s plot.

Screenwriter Steven, 60, explained: ‘In terms of appearances we’ve always had a lot of incoming interest. What I’m trying to not do is populate the scene with people who are known for other things.’

‘I think it’s quite distracting’, the film director added, before teasing he’s set to produce ‘spin-offs and maybe a movie’ based off the critically-acclaimed show.

The two-day event — which took place over the weekend — saw a legion of Peaky Blinders viewers channel 1920s chic in celebration of the hit series.

Liam wrote: ‘Thought you’d never ask yeah I’m of to meet a man about a part in peaky blinders Why me Why not see ya (sic).’  

When asked what his Birmingham accent is like, the Manchester-born star said: ‘It’s biblical.’

The BBC One show returned to screens in August to find crime boss Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his family living in post World War One Britain.

On the series’ plot, Steven said in a press release: ‘Tommy is one of those who came back from [World War I] horrifically damaged, who were spat back into society without any counselling.

‘And many brought their weapons home with them. There were a lot of guns around at the time. Tommy has a huge disdain for authority — everything he was told is a lie.’

The award-winning film and TV executive previously remained coy on whether any big-name stars will appear in the show, admitting he approaches celebrity cameos with caution because he wouldn’t want such actors to ‘swamp’ the drama. 

He added: 오바마카지노 ‘It’s difficult because some great people come to us and say they want to be in it. Some people would swamp it if they were in it. 

‘So we try not to do that. But if a really good actor expresses an interest and there’s a role they would be interested in then…’

Last month, Liam released the music video for his latest single, ‘One Of Us’, which sees him tackle the break-up of Oasis, family issues and ‘a potential reconciliation’. 

The promo was written by Steve and helmed by Anthony Byrne — the duo behind Peaky Blinders — and the former said it’s turned out to be exactly the story ‘Liam wanted to tell’. 

He added: ‘It was a pleasure for me to venture into this new world of music video. 

‘No matter what the form, storytelling is storytelling and I really responded to the story Liam wanted to tell. It has become a creatively fruitful collaboration.’

Images of Liam and sibling Noel, 52, along with their eldest brother Paul Gallagher, 53, feature in the black and white music video, which is titled ‘One Of Us: The Ballad of the Blue Eyed Boy’, as Liam reflects on their happier years together.
